Don’t judge this book by its cover, or title. Dutty Moonshine Big Band combines sounds from a bygone era with contemporary in-your-face beats, and is unlike anything I’ve ever heard before.

I’ll never understand how Yeasayer and their infectious music never gained more popularity. Late in 2019 they decided to hang it up, so this is a love letter to one of my favorite bands from the last 12 years.
